The Legacy Centenary Torch Relay 2023, presented by Defence Health is a six-month campaign, with satellite events (relays), travelling from Pozieres France on April 23 2023, through to the city of London, before returning home to Australia, landing in Perth, Western Australia in May 2023. The Torch will continue its journey throughout Australia, concluding in Melbourne in October 2023.

Carry the undying flame of service and sacrifice back from the western front throughout Australia, reaching each Legacy club to thank the past, celebrate the present and keep the flame alive into Legacy’s next 100 years.

Torch Bearer Uniform

If you are a successful applicant, you will receive a uniform which will include a shirt, shorts/pants, and socks. Please provide an indication of your sizing, below. Upon acceptance you will be contacted for specific sizing and ordering.

Your Centenary Torch Bearer application will be carefully considered as part of the initial application process for The Legacy Centenary Torch Relay presented by Defence Health. However, this does not guarantee that you will be selected.

Any personal information gathered by Legacy Australia (and their Event Partner, Perfect Events) will be handled in line with our privacy policy. Privacy Policy.
Legacy Australia and Perfect Events reserves the right to cease proceeding with your application at any time, for any reason.
Legacy Australia and Perfect Events will endeavour to respond to all applicants however cannot guarantee responses to all applicants.
